Add details of the number plates you would like to sell. You can add as many number plates as you like.
Registration number Add the details of your reistration number. Make sure you space the letters correctly. Use number plate word tags to indicate what the registration number looks like.
Number plate style
 
 
Tell us what type of number plate this is.
Make sure that your number plate isn't excluded when buyers are looking for a particular style of number plate, such as dateless registration plates.
VAT Indicate whether VAT is payable on your number plate. There will be no VAT to pay if you are a private individual selling a number plate. VAT is applicable if you are selling a number plate on behalf of a VAT registered company.
Status Is the number plate you are selling on a car? Or has it been transferred onto a numberplate retention certiificate?
DoT fees
Department of Transport fees.
Give potential buyers an indication of whether they will be asked to pay the transfer fees charged by the DVLA.
Word tags
If your number plate creates names or words, add them here. Or if there are other words which can be 'associated' with your number plate, again add them here. For example:

Why use word tags?
 
Sometimes potential buyers can't 'see' the name or word the number plate creates. So make it easy for them, and spell it out!
 
Word tags also help potential buyers find your number plate. Someone looking for a number plate may not be sure about what they'd like. Because we list our number plates by word tags, we find it helps inspire buyers with ideas.
 
Number plate themes
The majority of number plates are a set of 3 intitials, so won't fit into a theme. So don't worry if your number plate doesn't fit into one of our number plate themes. Potential buyers will still find your number plate easily.
